Thanks! I know it’s superficial, but this is a media battle as well as a physical one. So combating the fake narrative that these are dangerous anti American anarchists and disrupting their ability to craft propaganda is one flank of the larger battle. Pepper spraying Uncle Sam is a bad look.

Did I tell anyone how to protest? No, I said I thought it could be powerful and help disrupt the regime’s narrative for people to dress “patriotically”, in reply to a post that was literally about how the optics of a protest can be powerful, in that case, dressing as an inflatable frog.

Oh, and btw, Canadians are cleaning up our back yard. In a recent election conservatives (taken over by maple maga nuts) were a lock to win, until we got our shit together and voted to keep them out, averting disaster. We’re far from perfect, but if you wanna compare score cards we can do that.

We are being crushed and are teetering on recession because of America’s tariffs, while american big tech spreads and fuels hate globally. In the 30’s should Americans have minded their own business about Germany?

He sucks. Blumhouse puts out a million movies and most are unwatchably cheap and artless crap for streaming libraries. He should talk to the heads of fullmoon and cannon about what happens when you only pump out low quality “content” with no regard for audience standards… oh wait.

I’m Canadian so I’m not going be traveling to the states anytime soon. I think masked goons vs. a sea of red white and blue would be a powerful image and an effective anti propaganda tactic to combat the state narrative of “dangerous anti American terrorists” in Portland or anywhere else in America.

Halloween is the most egregious example I can think of in terms of the gulf between the original and everything after. By far the worst of the big horror franchises. But what are examples of the opposite? Big franchises that grew out of bad or mediocre movies? Maybe fast and furious?

Similarly, I think people should start wearing bright red white and blue clothing with big American flags on their shirts. They’re patriots, so they should dress like it and let the videos and pictures show masked men in camo attacking and abducting people who clearly love America, not “evil antifa”

The latest 4K AI uprez of terminator 2 currently available for streaming is a crime against art. It’s so bright and so smooth and so sharp it looks fucking awful! I hope I live long enough to see studios reissue “restored” hi rez versions of all the films they’re currently ruining with AI.

People know the third one is fake, right? Like that’s a very obvious bad photoshop. I think one fraudulent appearance on the news is plenty for a scandal and here we have two. I don’t think we need a third fake one to prove the point that they are liars.

I think it was a marketing problem. Everything was built on “look at the rock transform and act good”. I never got any sense of what the movie or story was “about” or a compelling reason to watch besides “this guy you were bored of and thought couldn’t act so great is actually pretty good.”
