100%! We all knew you had to move Palat and/or Dougie over the summer, but Fitz half assed it & failed. Now that we’re melting down & our dirty laundry is out in the national media, he’s spinning narratives to force a trade. It’s like letting a wound fester before cleaning it & applying a bandage.

You don’t let the truth get in the way of a convenient narrative to help expedite a potential trade that you desperately need to help save your job. I love how quickly he can respond now that national media is spotlighting how his ineptitude has created a team meltdown and fiasco. #NJDevils

Damn, it’s hard to fathom that when you wrote this we were only mid way through that embarrassment & the Isles’ beatdown of goals was only half done. Send the entire front office, coaching staff & hockey ops into the sun. Put everyone on the block for the right upgrade—nobody should be untouchable.

It’s a fine balance. I hope he stays at Boston University long enough to properly develop without us stunning his growth via our goaltending department incompetency. But like you, I want him here before our forward talent wastes its prime behind atrociously inconsistent & cooked goalies. #NJDevils

That’s just two of his numerous sins. Anyone & everyone who has even the most cursory connection to goaltending in this org. should be shown the door with him. Our failure to identify, draft & develop a single viable NHL starting goalie in house for over two decades is unacceptable. #NJDevils

This graph is so damning. We’ve put up a busy game’s worth of shots (34) on 60 shot attempts and still only generated two expected goals?!? Absolutely no finishers and nobody willing to do the dirty work and drive inside to the slot and blue paint on the #NJDevils

The mental fragility & lack of character on the #NJDevils is shameful. The inability to deal with any adversity is the top reason why I think nobody should be untouchable on this team. If you can’t deal with the slightest thing going wrong, blow it up ‘cause you’ll never win anything in this league.

When you’re playing like bunch of zombies is there any blood left for the bleeding to stop? Not even half way through the game and you let Duclair embarrass you with a hat trick on three shots. No sign of any push back. Nobody stepping up saying enough. Nobody showing any signs of life. #NJDevils

Yes, it’s like we’re physically there & putting in effort given the shot count. But our heart & head aren’t in the game. We’re not pissed off about losing & being embarrassed. The #NJDevils have no identity & play unexceptional & unconnected hockey like bunch of lost individuals without purpose.

I wasn’t sold on Keefe being the best coach for the #NJDevils & from what I’ve seen this season he’s a bad fit. We don’t start games on time, scoring is dead, we’re slow, can’t keep the puck out of our net & don’t play connected. The most damning thing: not one player has improved under his tenure.

We have no team identity, no fight, no saves, no defensive smarts, no connectedness and no finish. The #NJDevils are deeply broken and that falls at feet of the architect of this fiasco: Fitz. Next Wednesday our barn has to be half empty with Fire Fitz chants from puck drop to the final whistle.
