Trump is not a great anything. His bizarre, unhinged rant was full-on nuts, a self-unaware and shameful exhibition of lies, accusations, projection, deflection, threats, and unapologetic bullying in the service of his master, Vladimir Putin.

In 1954 Humphrey Bogart portrayed a flawed US Navy ship commander who has a paranoid meltdown on the witness stand during a pivotal military court scene. Bogart was a great actor.
