I’m fortunate to live in Colorado. Got my COVID and flu shots two days ago as a walk-in to the grocery pharmacy. Still, the unevenness of access across the US really undermines the benefit of vaccines.

A necessary condition for a popsicle but insufficient. Popsicles are frozen, on a stick, but water based. What you showed is an ice cream bar.

It’s a great business model. You offer a service in a competitive environment and sustain a dedicated client base while paying fairly for its production. Your Patreon followers are invested in your success and the well-being of your staff. Thanks for what you do and for doing it well.

Right. The question is whether they are actually seeking government efficiency or not. I don’t believe they are. They want an environment of chaos and confusion where they can operate with impunity.

I look forward to the episode! Thank you!

I’m biased, but yeah, damn straight.

Whether humanly possible or not is irrelevant. Work at a pace that *you* can sustain and that sustains *you*. Some people never understand the inverse relationship between quality and speed of delivery. It’s like defying physics. I will continue to support you on patreon; I’m in for the long haul.

I follow you on Bluesky only. It appears your mastodon feed is used less often? Mastodon is my first choice, Bluesky second. Twitter (aka X) is my last.

I’m not sure how best to offer encouragement, and I certainly don’t understand someone’s impulse to complain to you about your song selection, but I’ll note that as someone who is not partial to most of the rock canon I enjoy your episodes. All of them. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

As passionately as Kirk extols democratic values to people in other worlds, there’s no evidence that those values are at play in the Federation. No discussion between characters about Federation politics, no elections, no absentee ballots sent back to Earth via sub space radio.

Politically neutral in the sense that politics doesn’t inform the lives of the main characters (I’m thinking mainly of TOS).

I’m one of those people who associate it with antifascism, though I know the history of it. Placing it in a ST badge, ST being a politically neutral and idyllic narrative setting, is somehow compelling, but I can’t articulate why.

Hmm, an Iron Front ST patch? Hard to wrap my head around it, but first impulse is ‘yes’.

I’m very glad to hear that. I like what you do, am pleased to support you on Patreon, but would not follow you to Spotify.
