If saves are stored online with a switch membership, can game saves be continued back & forth between both consoles? Can both be primary systems? If not, will a secondary system need internet access to launch a game that isn’t on a cartridge (while traveling, for example)?

For the less tech savvy, I would love for you to make a video that explains how to set up a Switch 2, that still lets us have access to our games & saves on Switch 1 for those of us that want keep using both. Do we need a switch online membership to do that? Can both be primary systems?
