I am very happy to have contributed to a film for this very special history event in France. I was talking about the USAAF 3rd Air Division's role in Operation Cadillac, the large-scale parachute drop supplying the Maquis with much needed arms and equipment on 14 July 1944.

All set for ten days of touring with the National WWII Museum. The Masters of the Air Tour is a real pleasure to lead. This time around, with the added bonus of sharing the microphone once again with Donald L. Miller.

Hey Bobbie, yes, we did. It was a memorable day.

We spent a great day charting the roots of the Easy Company story in Aldbourne today. It is always fascinating to consider the relationship between US service personnel like the US 101st Airborne Division and the British communities on which they were billeted.

This is a remarkable podcast about a remarkable series of events in Afghanistan. The battle of Jugroom Fort. Royal Marines and Army Air Corps soldiers risk it all for a fallen comrade.
Give it a listen...

Team effort Norma, it was a great talk.

It was lovely to meet you both, Norma. It was a genuine pleasure and a privilege to introduce your talk at WHWF. I learnt a lot about the Canadian Para and their role in the last days of the war. Thanks!

One of the best things about the WHWF gathering is the opportunity to catch up with battlefield buddies. It was a pleasure to catch up with this gentleman today - the lovely Peter Caddick-Adams.

Just back from a lovely day at Oxford, I spoke at a Road Scholar event. Subject, the Shweinfurt & Regensburg Raid on 17 August 1943. I enjoyed sharing some remarkable stories about the men who flew that day. Not least, Leonard Spivey, lead Navigator, 381st BG.

I was back up in Liberator County yesterday. Visited the immaculately maintained memorial at Attlebridge (Air Station 120). Home to the 466th BG (H) 'The Flying Deck' who operated the B24 from this Airfield in Norfolk. Standby for more B24 lore when we talk Kassel raid on the Mighty Eighth Podcast.

Thank you, Martin, much appreciated. It was a labour of love and great fun to research and write. I also have many memories of working with Luuk Buist and so many GPR veterans. Still available in paperback at @WeHaveWaysPod
