Would a dedicated board solve some of this, like the Port of Seattle? Sound Transit Commissioners, not random elected officials where its a second job. And give them longer terms to actually see projects through.

And cutting back is going to undermine future votes. "I'm not voting for it again when you cut my stop / delayed my line 10 years after the last vote" thinking will become common. ST4 would not pass.

When I had my Mustang GT, I swapped dealerships for servicing it, when the one I visited had signed the "EVs suck, stop making them" letter to Ford. Tried to vote with my wallet. Dealers are holding us back.
