Part of the reason this project has gotten so damned expensive is because the state and county have been kicking the can down the road for decades.

I did the math. 1.5 miles in 14 minutes is a 9:20 per mile pace, which maybe is OK if you’re running in a 10k.
If you can’t do that for 1.5 miles, maybe you’re really not cut to join Trump’s goon squad.
