I don't see a scenario in which the Heat want Khris Middleton as part of a Butler trade. I think the Heat are likely looking to reroute Middleton to a fourth team. Maybe the Pels for Zion (ideally) or Ingram if that's all they can get.

I can't even begin to describe how hard it was for me to vote for two members of the New York Knicks on my All Star ballot. But... props where props are due.

95% of active NBA players are under 35.
This is one reason why there isn't a robust trade market for Jimmy Butler (35). There's not a great track record for that age bracket and above.
