At some point, the media and the Republican Party are going to have to admit the economy is in free fall. Foreclosures and bankruptcies are surging to Great Recession levels. The job market is a disaster. Everything is more expensive. It’s a really bad situation.

I caught some of Trump's press conference earlier, and it definitely seemed like he's willing to cave on health care subsidies. Democrats should not give an inch in this shutdown fight. We're winning, and Trump is looking for an exit strategy. Hold the line.
