My Hero Academia was something so unheard of in the world of manga and anime: consistent. It never strayed from its message, it stuck to its themes perfectly and honestly the ending is exactly what it should have been. Paired with an absolutely perfect anime this is the best new gen shonen.

You know why I’m able to thoroughly enjoy My Hero Academia? Because I’m not a chronically online person who needs to feel validated by my choices so I engage with a fandom and let those ppl sully or enhance my experience. I engage directly with a product, formulate my opinion and move on.
