The Roses may not have the best reviews (Fandango says 65% on RT) but I think this was a very incisive take on the material. At least equal to Danny DeVito's adaptation.

Sunday Nights are definitely my HBO nights. What are we all going to do until John Oliver comes back in February? Not sure what to think of "The Chair Factory" which is basically a darkly comic descent into one man's private hell. The It prequel series is incredibly enjoyable.

Ruben Fleischer takes over directing duties for the third "Now You See Me" movie. If you are a fan of the series, then I recommend this. The magic in this movie seems plausible unlike previous entries...

I've experienced being called an "animal", "a leech", and worse by the MAGA mob on Facebook for being permanently disabled and on SNAP. @kylekulinskishow.bsky.social is right, this is the politics they want. I'm usually not as strident as Kyle but he's right.
