Retired former business owner. Geelong Vic.
Australia has never been a clever country, why would we start now. Successive governments have given away our natural resources, allowed Australian inventions to be sold off. Our shops are full of foreign made stuff, we are even importing produce at the expense of local producers.

Just imagine how much better off we would be, if the miners, foreign companies, resource exporters were taxed properly, and we scrapped the fuel rebate for mining companies.

Just try and get the Murdoch controlled media to report that. They smell Albo’s blood and are in for the kill. Unfortunately, Albo doesn’t have the backbone to stand up to them and call them out.

And of course add to the list that old war criminal lying bastard Howard.

Littleproud knows that opposing any form of gun control will be popular with his redneck constituents and of course he doesn't have the backbone to stare them down like Tim Fisher as National leader did in 1996.
December 17, 2025 at 4:03 AM
Listening to Littleproud on RN Breakfast this morning, it is obvious that the Nationals will oppose any attempt to change the laws around gun ownership. He is no Tim Fisher!!

At least some of the blame must go to the Netanyahu regime. When we see, night after night on the TV news, starving children, hospitals and schools blown apart, housing destroyed, aid being restricted, etc. Is it any wonder there is a rise in antisemitism.

And Albanese's "usual way", like the Gambling Reform Report, is to COMPLETELY IGNORE IT!
It takes courage and a backbone to implement meaning full changes, and unfortunately, our PM does not have either.
December 13, 2025 at 5:22 AM
Typical of Albanese, weak as piss when it comes to standing up to big business. Now, he won't even stand there and face the media and answer questions. The man does not deserve to be PM!
December 12, 2025 at 5:19 AM
What will it take for the spineless Albanese to stand up for Australians. He just rolls over and lets Trump make rules that will impact Aust travellers. Just maybe if he showed some backbone and put US on a “do not travel status”, he would get done respect from Trump.
December 11, 2025 at 11:03 AM
Of course there are bigger issues, but the Murdoch media will always play out anything that criticised Labor to its fullest. Of course LNP were always exempt from criticism when they were in govt. It then again Albo squibbed a RC into media bias
December 8, 2025 at 4:25 AM
Albanese has shown himself to be incapable of standing up to big business, even watering down legislation proposed by his ministers. A massive majority has been squandered, he needs to resign and hand leadership to someone with a backbone.
December 2, 2025 at 9:37 AM
What a piece of work she is. Takes the money, does no work, unless the need is pointed out to her. Geez Albo, you pick some beauties to head departments, and then you are too weak to piss them off.
December 2, 2025 at 6:02 AM
It makes no difference which religion you are talking about - the only "god" they worship is MONEY. Numerous examples out there - for one, just look at the devious methods to avoid compensation to sexual abuse victims the Catholics went to.
November 29, 2025 at 4:50 AM
As if we needed any more proof the Albanese is in the pocket of big business, AFL, gambling lobby, etc.

When just one if the private energy suppliers (Origin) can report a profit of $1.5 billion for the year, it is easy to see why energy prices are continually rising.
November 28, 2025 at 1:44 AM
“Inaccurate evidence”. Bullshit! Call it what it is. Straight out lying to the inquiry. Sack the grifter NOW!
November 27, 2025 at 6:27 AM
Very true! We have a PM who appears dead scared of upsetting the lobby groups and big business. So much so that much needed reforms are put on the back burner. Gambling ad ban is an excellent example.
November 27, 2025 at 6:23 AM
One has to ask the obvious. does anyone in government have any concept of value for money. How the bloody hell can you spend $100 million of a website and not smell a very large rat?
November 27, 2025 at 6:15 AM
Those bloody subs will almost certainly be obsolete when (if) we ever get them. Technology won’t stand still in the interim.
November 20, 2025 at 10:26 AM
It’s obvious that Albanese cares more about the donations Labor receives from the gambling lobby that he does about those in their clutches
November 20, 2025 at 10:19 AM
If the do lose a bag full of seats, it will be down to one thing: Albo’s lack of a backbone.
