Back on track with Day 6, the best one yet. It’s a Gonk who appears to be an assistant or janitor. I love him with all my heart. The clear pieces really add to the look and he’s got a little spoon!

I think it’s got a solid reputation, but I don’t see enough people bringing up Colossal when talking about the modern wave of Kaiju films. It’s frankly a brilliant movie that feels like a feature-length Ultra Q episode.

Also, the resource I’m using to confirm what these are did point out that Threepio has the red eyes from that scene in TROS. I thought the eyes looked more red than normal but I thought they would be more red if that’s what they were going for.

Okay, apparently this is supposed to be a chair. Specifically the chair C-3PO sits in while Babu Frik turns him evil in TROS. Never would have guessed that in a million years.

By far the most positive thing to come out of marketing “designer vinyls” to kids that I’ve seen. Yes it’s also cost-cutting to not paint them but I think it’s always good to encourage creativity.

Even as a child, I always loved tiny toys. It made the worlds they inhabit seem so much bigger.

Fair. There’s some variation in how it’s drawn, but it’s also very easy to conceptualize it as a one-handed sword since for Hellboy, most swords are one-handed.
