Jason Stanley is one of three Yale profs who left Trumpland to teach at U of T. In his first op-ed for @thestar.com, he says Canadians need to wake up and smell the fascism: www.thestar.com/opinion/cont...
I left Trump’s America last year to teach in Canada. I didn’t expect this from Canadians
During my short time here, I have encountered a shocking level of naïveté about what is happening in the United States.

Any administration that instantly clears one of its officers of a suspected capital crime is just begging for other trigger-happy poorly trained ICE officers to do the same.

The White House isn't protecting its officers. It's encouraging them to ignore the law. And that puts more Americans at risk.

Albertan Independence? Meet cold, harsh reality

New polling reinforces older polls showing little support for leaving Canada, though UCP voters are much more willing to support the idea.

After she spoke to him calmly. After shooting her. Three times. In the face.

The murderer called Renee Good a "fucking bitch."
In the video that the shooter took, which I believe was leaked to be exculpatory, he appears to yell “fucking bitch” after he shoots Renee Good.
