Did you get off safely?

I loved my radio as a kid. I remember listening to it in bed with my mono earpiece & my thumbnail in the tuning dial trying to keep in tune.

Yep, that’s exactly how I remember my wellies, and the sore legs where they used to rub!

That’s a great song Mike & beautifully arranged too, & with Paul Carrack’s velvet voice, a perfect fit.

If Laura Kuenssberg ever throws a sickie Nerine!!! Just sayin!

No apologies needed Mike, it was from Amazon. The only reason I had to wait was because my wife bought it for my birthday. I wanted it earlier but she’d already ordered it.

The wait is over Mike, You no longer have to starve! Looking forward to this, I’ve waited long enough!
December 9, 2024 at 7:42 PM
I remember his party piece playing out of tune! He did it so well, I would imagine it’s not as easy as it might seem to still make the tune recognisable.

He’s a talented guy Clare! I bet you love it, I like the pencil in your hair!
December 6, 2024 at 6:36 PM

November 26, 2024 at 9:45 AM
Looking forward to reading it Mike but have to wait until my Birthday as it’s been bought! By the way, how did the name “Womble”s come about? Or is it in the book!
