It’s about 27 years since I first saw them and 6 days since I last did… I’m sure you will have a fine old time, but I didn’t enjoy my last gig much for various reasons :-/

I thought I was in for a nice seated gig, but having been encouraged by Letitia a few people got up to dance, though annoyingly it was mainly just in the rows in front of us. Even stood up we had a limited view. That plus blokes next to us talking throughout. We moved to the side eventually :(

Seeing them at the RFH tonight. Hopefully I’ll have less of a challenge getting there! I’m sure it’ll sound great, less convinced about the beer…

Obviously you should totally go to this, but just to hamper your expectations I was quite disappointed by Alpha… You might well still love it though!

I’m on the very left in that Smote pic… I’d be happy to see them somewhere with a bigger (but good) sound system at least. First encounter was at Supersonic last year and they just sounded huuuuuuge.

I enjoyed this concert, had a feeling you might be there. Can’t see Smote playing venues this small for much longer…

I watched a featurette on Arrow Player which showed clips from the later ones. Mad that he kept returning to CJ over so many years!

I saw it! I maybe wasn’t quite as enamoured as you, but it definitely looked and sounded amazing (& Indy was great, obvs!). Though I might have just been a bit too distracted by this one guy’s illuminated Apple Watch in my peripheral throughout the film to have focused fully… 🤬

I saw it! I maybe wasn’t quite as enamoured as you, but it definitely looked and sounded amazing (& Indy was great, obvs!). Though I might have just been a bit too distracted by this one guy’s illuminated Apple Watch in my peripheral throughout the film to have focused fully… 🤬
