It’s Christmas Eve. I’m still a dog. Merry Christmas.

Thank you. The NORAD Santa Tracker is still around. I think it’s still one of the best private/government partnerships. All private money.

I like 60 minutes and was sure that the news ombudsman when CBS/Paramount was bought by Skydance would ensure journalistic integrity. The CECOT story last night was the test. They spiked the story and failed. Paramount can’t be allowed to buy Warners Brothers/HBO/CNN. Media consolidation is bad.

So here is the ultimate problem. Real, everyday people are putting their lives in danger. No Kings demonstrators, Epstein victims, whistleblowers. While those responsible for upholding the law, Department of Justice, Congress, Supreme Court capitulate, cover up, fail, and perpetuate that danger.

I worked in many places where technical people who were making the business decisions actually had to have coaching so they could act like a normal person, although the organization had competent normal people in spades. Now, more than ever we need normal competent people calling the shots.

Well, it’s all out there now. All the broadcast channels and a lot of the cable channels carried the speech. Soo, everyone knows what we’re dealing with. It’s not a secret anymore. I’ve said it before. “I’m a nuclear engineer and I’m pretty worried right now.”

I was always one of those “if it ain’t broke don’t fix it”, guys while still allowing for new ideas by customers and better processes. What has mystified me, this first year, is the intentional destruction of government functions and programs causing the deaths of thousands, with little pushback.

A lawn bowler I knew said, when you can no longer bowl, coach. Most Americans don’t think they need a coach. It a uniquely American thing to think you know it all and don’t need help. But I think everyone can benefit from coaching. “A good coach can change a game, a great coach can change a life.”

I spent most of my career developing and negotiating contracts working to meet client needs. You can put almost any legal thing in a contract, however outrageous, as long as it’s agreed to. Same with legislation, only it usually defines what’s legal. You still have to meet your constituents needs.

One of my friends received an award he earned and felt embarrassed because he thought others should have shared in the recognition. He was somewhat apologetic.
Pretty old school reaction. He should be proud of what he did. Completely different thinking than, I alone, am responsible for doing this.

I was told early in life not to put anything in writing that I wouldn’t want to see in the newspaper.Yeah,I’m old. Only, our government agencies aren’t writing much down and when they do aren’t releasing it.They delay, evade, lie. So we don’t know what they’re doing. It’s by far out biggest problem.

There is no sure way to be successful in government. There are too many variables. But there is one certain way to fail. Try to do something alone. If you really want to accomplish something positive, get a group together. Many heads come up with better ideas, and it’s harder to get rid you.

Well, what did we expect. When you put criminals, alcoholics, drug addicts, animal abusers and billionaires in positions of power you get this. We really can’t keep putting the same types of people in charge and keep doing the same things over and over and expect the result will be different.

The key is still Congress and Legal.

Congress stops confirming incompetent political appointees and starts to solve problems for regular Americans.

Government lawyers, both in-house and contract, stop being political mouthpieces and start rendering competent and correct legal advice.

When the wreckers show up at the wrong house and tear down your home, you sue the people responsible and force them to rebuild what they destroyed. So many people dropped the ball on the White House East Wing demo, it’s hard not to find a responsible party to sue. There is no government immunity.

The oral tradition for the Old Testament Bible lasted some 1300 years and some 70 years for the New Testament Bible. I think our current oral traditions are sufficient to preserve current events for the next few years until the current misinformation machine is no longer in existence.

When the country is fucked, the good people can’t walk away. It’s not the time. - - Eidra Park

Increasing numbers of politicians, civil servants, and people are abandoning their jobs and responsibilities. These sunshine patriots need to suck it up and find a way to stay and make things right.

Watching Ken Burns “The American Revolution”, I initially thought that the Patriots or Rebels equated to the modern day “No Kings” and the Loyalists or Tory’s equated to the current “MAGAs”. But like then, it’s not as simple as it initially seems. It a complicated situation not easily understood.

I don’t think it’s lost on anyone the hypocrisy of our government in investigating and prosecuting patriots and at the same time issuing wholesale pardons to convicted criminals willing to pay millions to personal accounts of politicians. It’s a travesty of justice. We really need to do better.

The first thing you learn in a basic firearms class is not to point your gun at anyone you don’t want to shoot and don’t post stupid shit on social media. Border Patrol agents do both. It’s beyond time for Congress to reign these guys in by allowing lawsuits under U.S. Code Title 42 Section 1983.

November 20th is the Great American Smokeout. It’s a chance to quit smoking with thousands of other people. Cold turkey, nicotine patches or gum. It doesn’t matter. You’ll feel better. Benefits start immediately. Save your heath. Save your life. Quit smoking now.

November 19th is World Toilet Day, bringing awareness that about 3.5 billion people don’t have adequate sanitation and over 350 million people practice open defecation. My stint as a Metro bus driver allowed toilet cognition. Proper sanitation and toilets save lives.

The saying is “Justice delayed is justice denied”. There are plenty of example of this. Most prominent, now, are the Epstein crimes. It’s time to settle this once a for all. Asking Congress to vote to release of the Epstein files is a red herring. Just ask the Department of Justice to release them.
