There are movies that are ABOUT Christmas, and there are movies that are "Christmas adjacent". Both are fine. My definition of a "Christmas movie" is: "a movie you, your family, and/or your friends like to watch at Christmas for whatever reason(s)". "They Live" and "Repo Man"? Go for it!

Yeah - they all have the same fundamental agendas - nativist, xenophobic, racist, isolationist. And they seem to be ascendant in many, many countries.

I usually find Robyn Urback columns underwhelming at best. For once, I don't.

I have been surprised to find myself in agreement with Mr. Coyne several times in recent months. I vehemently disagree with this slop. Good to see that order has been restored to the universe.
