Hell yea man! Hopeful you get more Jod in the near future, and I think they did a great job of balancing some of what we know with a healthy dose of new! Tune into our skeleton crew finale episode to hear us mention and expand on this further!

But he wasn’t being stupid he was seeking vengeance. Which while uncharacteristic, adds a new wrinkle to what Thrawn has grown into since we last saw him.

Sabine’s injury was serious but not fatal. That moment provided suspense and showed her lack of skill against trained force users

Jfc ok. So let me get this straight your gripe is that Thrawn didn’t outright win immediately, Leaving no survivors. Man you’re a literature genius why aren’t you in charge you clearly understand complex and interesting storytelling. Thrawns total victory in 10 seconds would really make me feel.

They are quite literally still prepping the Star destroyer for departure. and he leaves Morgan behind to stall them. Despite an orbital bombardment failure. There’s narrative precedence for every point you make and only Ezra goes home. Did we watch a different show? Like what are you talking about

Sabine and Ahsoka remain stranded on peridia with no way home. Which is a consequence of Sabines actions. Thrawn sacrifices some pawns and a bishop to get to his broader goal of returning to the known galaxy, categorically a win in his book. 🤔

It’s clear we fundamentally disagree, but at least I can come up with my own opinions and conclusions. I’m not toxically positive, but I can differentiate between what I do and don’t like and compare/contrast them to the creator’s intentions. You’re parroting someone else’s negative takeaways

Making stronger narrative decisions by not adding 2 episodes focused on the mandalorian, and having a “speeder chase” that was at a snails pace is what I would consider faulty execution.

And I asked you for a scene that backed up your point not you regurgitating someone’s video essay.
December 30, 2024 at 6:30 PM
Ok but to use one of your examples please send me a link to a scene where ahsoka says “this was all part of my plan Thrawn” and in the BOBF it’s pretty clear it’s a redemption story, despite some pretty faulty execution at times. None of this is spoon-fed via dialogue. I’m not getting your point

I have plenty of gripes with some of the Disney era stories. You are grossly misinterpreting some of the plot resolutions here. Characters are allowed to develop and change. Just like human beings are. I can only respond in so many characters if you want my detailed takes listen to my podcast. 🤷‍♂️

They’re not all winners, but there are some pretty compelling stories and arcs. I’ll tell ya though the more you choose to negatively interact about it the more toxicity you’re responsible for, and I mean that internally and externally. Maybe find a fandom with a future you find more exciting!

You’re a big alien species life expectancy can’t be changed guy I get it, I was a big Anakin Solo, Yuzhan Vong is an interesting concept guy. “Things pass in time”we have to let new creators put their stamp on things or we will never get new and interesting Star Wars.

I’m genuinely happy you love legends so much. I have love for it too. It was a place where stuff like this happened constantly. Instead of spending so much energy arguing about this, I’m imploring you to focus on the aspects of SW that you love. Life’s to short to have this much anger at a story.

So in the phantom menace he actively chooses to deny this investigation was tied to the sith by stating “the sith have not existed in over a millennia” knowing he was aware of the investigation makes him complicit in a cover-up OR more likely shows he did not believe the Sith could return.

From a story standpoint it also doubles down on Ki-Adi being a prime example of the hubris of the Jedi had built itself up to a point where they felt they were infallible.

Ultimately It’s an aliens age, changing this for story reasons is not a big deal.

Oh I was definitely joking, I think some other haters read into my comment 😂
