Bernie: Today, we spend almost 2X/capita on healthcare as any other country. the US spends $14570/person on healthcare compared with just $5640 in Japan, $6,023 in the UK, $6931 in Australia & $7136 in France. we are the only major country not to guarantee healthcare to all people as a human right.
