as I understand it, you get enrolled in one of about 100 health insurance funds that the govt subsidizes and controls, what is usually called a multi-payer system, and healthcare is mandatory for all citizens under statute. If you're rich, you can still buy private... if you want lol

The ACA set up healthcare exchanges on which you could buy private insurance at a subsidized cost, sort of like how it works in Germany etc, except that the Repubs made the tax penalty for citizens for not buying health insurance zero dollars in 2019, effectively meaning no individual mandate.

It was also unnecessary, which is so baffling. The camera in the s23 Ultra was and is amazing, and it was very possible to take as good a phone photo of the moon as I have ever seen with Expert RAW. But ofc, that wasn't good enough for some reason. Included a few shots from when I had the s23, no AI
