No way! Not a FIFA Peace Prize Winner 😱

Obviously they should only be used in a deal that Europe is part of.
December 17, 2025 at 8:47 PM
I am not so sure. The second photo is much darker and unclear.
So that might be the reason it looks like it has "gone to the bottom".
December 16, 2025 at 1:06 PM
I wonder if Transnistria plays a role in all this.

If I was negotiating for Ukraine I would say that if we dont get x in the deal we will take and disarm Transnistria before signing it.

I think it is possible the drone hit the pier right behind the sub, and not the sub directly.
December 16, 2025 at 9:47 AM
For sure. That is the question. Who will collapse first.

Ukraines biggest problem remains manpower.
Drones and modern western weapons are only partially making up for it.

Few Ukrainians wants to join the military. They know they will be fighting till they are dead or crippled.

This is the paradox.
Europe is doing well and life is good (compared to anay other place).
But people are not satisfied.

There are some reasons for this. But still its a paradox.
December 14, 2025 at 10:16 PM
I would say Trump.
December 14, 2025 at 10:14 PM
You should do it.
December 14, 2025 at 10:12 PM
Both Poland and Scandinavian countries are getting stronger and I think the Eastern flank is secure.

The big risk is within Nato. Trump and elections in both France, Germany and Great Britain.
December 14, 2025 at 7:44 PM
Bestemt.
Men jeg er dog også skuffet over at Ukraine ikke har retsforfulgt sine egne krigsforbrydere.
December 14, 2025 at 7:37 PM
But its all risky.

I think both Russia and Ukraine are getting much closer to collapse.
But how close are they? Thats the questiong.
December 14, 2025 at 8:19 AM
Clearly the right thing to do.

Unlikely that both the US and Russia would accept a plan that Ukraine can also accept.
I dont see how at this moment.

But hopefully the US will not blame Ukraine for it, and hopefully a better deal can be made later.
December 14, 2025 at 8:18 AM
Because Ukriane is about to collapse too.

Ukraine had more than 20.000 desserters in October alone.
And this year they had more than in the 3 years before combined.

And young men are leaving the country by the hundreds of thousands.
December 14, 2025 at 12:39 AM
To some degree Trump is bluffing.

Because completely abandoning Ukriane and Europe would not be popular in Congress or among Americans.
An there is little trust in Putin except among some of the MAGA fools.
December 14, 2025 at 12:35 AM
I wouldnt go that far.
Zelensky and European leaders are still playing nice with Trump.
Certainly not ignoring. But also not taking orders or accepting deadlines.

American intel and arms sales are still important.
December 14, 2025 at 12:33 AM
Imagine if Ukriane, Europe and the US gave Russia a one time offer.
End the war now and you will have Sevastopol and no Ukrianian Nato membership.

Refuse and we will tripple aid and make sure you get nothing.

War would be over.
December 13, 2025 at 11:01 PM
I will remain sceptical as long as there is no will to end party corruption and no acknowledgement of crusial past mistakes (like Biden-Harris deciding not to have Jan 6 leaders face justice).
December 13, 2025 at 10:55 PM
Exactly.
This was not for free.
December 13, 2025 at 2:56 PM
In any war the first few moments after capture are extremely dangerous and stressful for POWs.

Your life depends on the enemy being able shift from killing mode in a second.
December 13, 2025 at 12:49 PM
No. The problem is the size of Ukrainian agriculture, and the poverty of Ukraine.
They would suck up half of EU funds.
December 12, 2025 at 11:50 PM
Its not about Russia.

Its about Ukraine being ready. And the EU being ready for Ukraine.
Ukraine is a very poor country compared to the EU. Its in the middle of war, and has big corruption problems.
December 12, 2025 at 11:49 PM
"without responding".

Apart from sending billions and billions worth of weapons to Ukraine, training tens of thousands of Ukrainian soldiers and pilots, paying salaries to Ukrainian soldiers and basically killing thousands of Russians indirectly.
December 12, 2025 at 11:28 PM
I am more happy to see Ukraine do a succesful counter attack in this area.
December 12, 2025 at 6:40 PM
Its good news. And only fair.

Hopefully it doesnt hurt Europes position in banking etc.
