I have a needy cat. She's doing her best to cope with suddenly being denied access to laying on my chest following my surgery, but sometimes it's just not enough for her 😢

So yeah, the last few weeks sucked. Put my car in the ditch for the first time ever, cracked the windshield, wound up hospitalized with influenza A AND pneumonia, 🍊💩 begins its reign of terror, and my cat's refusal to properly care for herself is stressing me out and crippling my bank account 😔

I've been driving for 27 years without incident... until tonight when I found myself sliding sideways across the median and into the ditch 4 miles from home. Definitely a 0/10 experience, absolutely not recommended.

Seems appropriate, given the state of things. (I'm also confirming that I have permissions set up properly for future sharing.)

Facebook refugee here, looking for a new start. Keeping my fingers crossed that things truly are better here.
