I'm thinking that we could run like 10 min practice in class where they are in conditions that limit their ability to use gadgets/ai by default so they experience less temptation?

Sure but when we migrate we tend to pay more attention to adapting, studying, learning and trying to compile a life in general so for many their language freezes! I am out of country now too but I read/speak/work everyday so I don't have a chance to miss new memes and little changes in usage.

How cool! Well, I know some families speak a bit outdated version of language because that was the stage frozen in the memory at the moment of leaving. And yes, some just want to know more or be able to write, for example. Creative writing may be tricky;)
