They lined up to vote for trump in exchange for Ross Ulbricht's pardon - one of the few campaign promises he kept

Speaking of litigation - when they come after delinquent taxes, who do you think they’ll target. It won’t be Trump supporters. What do you think all these voting record seizures are for?

I, too, hate the idea of funding the current government. But it'll be really easy to track us down when/if they get around to it later.

if you're paid in cash/tips you could probably sneak it past them. but if you filed last year, they'll be expecting you again this year. It would take a query 30 seconds to print a list of red flag anomalies in the records. And this could be done 4 years from now.

your W-2s and 1099s go to the IRS. If you don't report and/or pay, the computers will automagically send a bill. The staffing cuts will affect their ability to do audits of filed returns and provide customer support to people who need help.

Yes, people could get away with tax reporting shenanigans (in areas not already reported on official forms, etc.) for a year or two, but audits in subsequent years could be painful. Particularly with the advance in data analysis (via "AI") looking at irregular big differences year-to-year.

Paper ballots leave no doubt at the end of the evening? Where was he in 2000 when it took FIVE WEEKS to conclude the recounts in Florida's presidential race? When the Supreme Court ended it and handed it to the addled Bush boy.

“I was in fear for my life” often is a workable defense. Kinda like when a cop says “they had a gun” because life and death decisions don’t allow time to ask for clarity. I’m not defending cops - just saying one can use a similar defense given the circumstances

ICE having body cams will only be used for their benefit. if DOJ refuses to investigate, what's the point of body cams? Local officials won't be given access to the footage nor will victims.

I've seen a few stations drop their prices below $2, probably for photo ops, and then raise them higher than all the nearby stations a few days later. They lose money below $2. trump doesn't really care about profits - just headlines.

Luckily for those of us here in Denver, the PG Ensemble performs the Koyaanisqatsi soundtrack alongside the film this Saturday evening. Get your tickets while you can.
January 28, 2026 at 7:07 PM
But if you can’t wait for that - the Philip Glass Ensemble will be performing the soundtrack live while screening the film this Saturday (1/31/26) at the DCPA.

This administration has shown that they're going to do what they want to do and force The People to litigate for relief and justice. And the more they tie up the courts and media with outrageous acts, the more they can rob us blind while we're distracted.

There's a lot of things happening right now that aren't supposed to be happening. But when it's the people who are literally empowered to be honoring agreements and enforcing laws that have gone rogue, it's time for changes and new plans of action.
January 28, 2026 at 5:35 PM
Nope -unless you want to somehow narrowly define “police force”. South Carolina referred to its slave patrols as Police (including police stations) as early as 1701. But I guess we don’t count that in today’s white-washed history, huh?
January 25, 2026 at 9:14 PM
And yet, Fox News plays the video and then tells us we’re not seeing what’s actually happening. And they bring on all the Trump suck-ups who say it was justified because he was a terrorist and shouldn’t have been carrying a gun.

Apparently fraud (if you’re a conservative) is not a crime so much as an objective.
