Sunday has been a busy day here at ‘Hartley Manor’. I’ve been dressing the Christmas tree while Mrs H has been dressing the lounge and dining room. Here’s the tree completed. Needless to say we are both now reclining and recovering. #Christmas2025 #Christmastree #Decorating 🎄

Good morning everyone. I’m celebrating 71 years on this earth today. I can’t quite believe I’m at this stage in life but am forever grateful for the privilege of growing old since some sadly don’t get that chance. I also appreciate the friendship so many of you show to me on here.

Monday 1st December so far: #gym #workout first thing followed by lunch out at a garden centre and a mooch round ( no purchases) followed by a big supermarket shop. Now reclining with coffee by way of recovery. I hope your week has got off to a good start. #gymmotivation

Good evening everyone. How’s life folks? My day started off with a hard workout at the gym followed by lunch out then it was back home to complete safeguarding my many pots of bulbs in the rear garden from my squirrel visitor. Glad to say the job is now done. #gymlife #gardening

Because we’ve suffered our first Squirrel visit for over 30 years I had to buy small mesh wire netting today and then start to cover each of my pots. Planting bulbs is becoming quite time consuming. #gardening #gardeninglife #gardenersworld #bulbs
