That's not so bad then. I've known mid-sentence or mid-scene editors. My ADHD would never let me do that and actually remember where I left off!

It's not a bad way to write. But I think a good-old word vomit on the page helps the flow--and then, you can come back to edit it.

Ooh~ What sort of draft was it? It sounds like the "get it all down first" type. Those are always fun because it's a lot of "That's a problem for future me!"

And then future me gets here and she HATES that woman! 😆

I've been there. Finished a whole manuscript only to suddenly feel "Hmm, my main character's name isn't quite right."

Cue the dreaded "Do I copy/replace, or actively search for every instance?"

Oof! That and crying when you write something emotional are always such visceral author reactions I oddly enjoy.
