Love this point about the interns. I keep seeing people say they have ai write content for them, but it’s ok because they can find the mistakes and fix it and make it better. So basically you are doing everything through a terrible assistant who is worse at everything than you. No thank you.

Is this real and does this mean I can start saying this to my friends and clients? “Don’t be a panican”

Genuine question - what happens if you get very very sick or injured?

What kind of plan is that?

I am in a similar situation and trying to decide what to do. Interested in your thoughts on - like if you or your daughter get into a terrible accident?

I have talked to too many actual people who say things that are delusional, too dumb to know their own mistakes, and/or want to believe their own lies. I don’t find it cute when humans do it and I don’t find it cute when AI does it.

And I know you are right about it not being more efficient but it’s not possible to convince people of this. All the time spent coping with the mistakes and terrible writing that they then have to make sense of and turn back into what they really need said.

This is all so perplexing as people who say this don’t remember like 2 yrs ago? It just was not that long ago.

A lot of the so called anti AI people just already believe they can’t do those things thru used to do and that they need to keep doing if they aren’t going to lose their ability to think, write, be creative, or be resilient to small challenges in daily life.

What worries me is the people who tell me they are worried about AI, don’t like what AI is doing in their workplace, don’t trust the bad information they get from AI. Then a minute later casually mention using it to do some basic task for fun or convenience.

I don’t need you to explain to me why people think AI is useful to them. I get it. I just think something can solve some problems while creating bigger problems at the same time.

Overall has your life become less stressful in the last 4 months? You can point to one way it seems to be helping you, but I see broader harms that I know people aren’t aware of.

Is there anyone people with rage about AI are gathering that I can join.
December 18, 2025 at 5:29 PM
As a therapist and career coach, all day every day for the past 4 months I have thought to myself: There is a zero chance AI is making anyones life easier, since I literally know zero people whose life/work is getting easier.

This is why everyone is increasingly stressed out and miserable. It's like as a societ we decided to give toddlers all the important jobs and then be constantly frustrated, exhausted, and overworked trying to re-do the jobs and figure out what this chaotic child is trying to do with serious work.

Yes!

It's wrong and misguided to rely on chatgpt to give you information. Will it always be that way? I don't know, but in the late 90s there was an internet but you weren't using it to do your research or learn about real information that mattered to you (-GenX) All new technology is useless for awhile

But the whole thing is makng me crazy in that even without any of this we certainly knew Trump was a gross sexual criminal who was into teen girls. I mean, we knew that the whole time and no one seemed to care.
