i love them!! watching them pull loose acorns out of their hoards and stick them into perfectly sized smaller holes as the acorns shrink and dry was one of my fave things to see growing up in socal

How do you keep/feed your starter? I tried keeping one but I couldn’t keep up with baking every week and it always felt like such waste to pour starter out and throw it away just to feed it
