Remember the right-wing plot to sabotage Jimmy Carter’s re-election by urging Iran to hold American hostages longer? You don’t? It’s a shocking example of the American right’s treachery that more people should know about. (Gift link to 2023 NYT story.)
The last time an American one the @thenba.space NBA MVP was 6 years ago. It’s not 3-pointers folks. The NBA has become an international sport (which I love) that’s being marketed to an increasingly nationalistic populace. It’s really that simple. The darn 10-minute video reviews aren’t helping

All the talk around who may to may not want to trade for #JimmyButler has me convinced #NBA GMs don’t watch basketball games. I understand they have to focus on their teams, but this feels like #bradleyBeal, and #PaulGeorge fever all over again. They’re old, expensive, and unavailable. Walk away
