And here in CA, X is full of blamers of the fires on our being a blue state led by Dems. Money reduced for firefighting, etc. - which has happened. But the whole problem is the libertarian billionnaire-run GOP refusing to fund govt at all!!!

I’ve been thinking about that- a lot. The Palisades has so many wonderful Democratic friends I know…surely there were some Trumpsters that would incite T’s help? But already X was full of blame Newsom, CA is blue state hell sneering.

I’m re-reading Erik Erickson’s “Childhood & Society.” It explains so much so insightfully - from 1950- about bending to authoritarian rule. I’m studying how to be more effective against our root societal dysfunction.

Frankly I don’t care how close it is to norms. And as per SCOTUS, could’ve even been illegal, right? I say bravo for finally doing something with your power that is both just and merciful.
