Lovely! Your house reminds me of my grandparents’ house, built around 1915. They grew peaches and cherries, but got hit hard in the Depression. Here are some “before and during” photos.

Exciting and exhausting. Coming out of the pandemic workers were scarce, so we ended up doing a lot of stuff ourselves under the direction of our contractor. He had done major work on some neighbor’s 1920’s bungalow, and that neighbor helped a lot too. Our house was built in 1950.

We have so much in common with all the creatures, and the plants, (and let’s not forget the fungi!) Here’s our hummingbird feeder, they’ve been wintering over here in recent years.

Our red maple decided to drop so many leaves yesterday. Cheered us up a little bit, and now the dahlias are enjoying their new red winter comforter.
