We should not have this much snow so early. We're just on the very outer edge of Lake Effect. We've got about 9-10 inches on the ground, and for the past hours, we've alternated between sleet, freezing rain and snow. I had to shovel off the top of my boxwood hedge! Again.

We were lucky enough to finally break just over freezing. This means our snow now has a nice layer of ice on top of it. No school today for the kiddos!

But you did it. Don't be embarrassed! You deserve a better life.

This is not a surprise. Most reputable companies are reluctant to hire a former criminal. ICE gives them a bonus to hire in.

We get 'sea smoke' on the Great Lakes when we have this cold weather as well.

Our "starving" house kitty managed to remove the pair of men's shoes on top of the barn kitty's food. No problem, there's a lid on the pail. Ahem. Now there's a brick on the lid. Our barn cat is 15, we had him neutered and he hasn't let us within 10 feet since! He will never be an indoor kitty!

We have 18 cm of snow on the ground. We're to get about another 20 today. We've barely hit 0C this month. This Is NOT normal. I would love a blustery damp day instead of a howling wind/blowing snow day. That said, thanks for the flower shot!
