I'm navigating a career direction change after over a decade of working in tech support, a career change I wasn't looking for or wanted, but that felt like a necessity at the time. I'm still in the comics of pt 1 but I know there's a pt 2 in my future too. Thank you for sharing your you-ness.

Interesting. I read that differently than you. I read that as being a "republican" slogan with "Republicans" running campaigns against democrats saying that Dems "allowed federal funds for nurition & childcare to be exploited". I don't see a way of spinning that phrase for use BY Dems.

Where are you seeing anything about Democrats running on this issue? It wasn't in this post, the original post, or the linked sorry I don't see any reason to have brought that up. Where is the similar focus on OTHER fraud, corporate fraud, tax fraud? Why such focus on blue states? Retaliation.

The article from politico had a quote from Governor Walz talking about the fraud. They've been working on the problem. It's not a secret.
What's concerning here is that the rate and financial impact of this particular type of fraud is so small and yet this administration is making it a HUGE deal.

Today, I was reminded that Sir Christopher Lee released a Heavy Metal Christmas album. It's fun, but musically it felt far from "perfect" and that's part of what made it GOOD! It was just... Effort on display. Not polished to within an inch of life. Not commercially tuned for success. Brilliant.
