it's because bank deposits are insured by FDIC.

Update: It's 1/22 and eggs still cost too much, the war in Ukraine is still on. Also, Trump pardoned the Proud Boys, threatened war on Panama, is making bank off the presidency with a cryptoscam, and is mad at a bishop for urging him to his face to have compassion and empathy.
