The UK's Online Safety Act is 1 of the dumbest pieces of legislation ever enacted. The fact the gov doesn't do the verifying, or doesn't mandate the use of Yoti (which I see as trustworthy enough using face scans rather than ID) is a terrible thing &'s why Discord verified data was instantly nicked.

Can Meta stop pushing spam/trash adverts, especially Asian scams, into my feed? It is all spam/scam nonsense and I keep having to block them and say I am not interested and yet more and more keep appearing in my Instagram feed. Please stop it, Meta. It is borderline making your product unusable. 😤

This is unsustainable. Labour need to get to grips with this otherwise they will lose to Reform UK. And regardless we cannot sustain this level of influx of people when those already here do not have the necessary infrastructure for themselves let alone thousands and thousands more!
My thoughts are with those greiving from the incident that happened to the Air India flight headed towards London Gatwick from India. It is a tragerdy and I hope the cause can be determined as quickly as possible to bring closure and improvements to prevent this from happening again. Sending love. ❤️

I am disappointed that Mozilla has decided to discontinue Fakespot. Fakespot was an awesome browser extension that helped identify suspicious/low-quality listings on Amazon. Considering how much of a minefield Amazon has become, it is a tool that will be sorely missed after June 30th, 2025. 😞😠

I am disappointed that Mozilla has decided to discontinue Fakespot. Fakespot was an awesome browser extension that helped identify suspicious/low-quality listings on Amazon. Considering how much of a minefield Amazon has become, it is a tool that will be sorely missed after June 30th, 2025. 😞😠
I support giving Mauritius 🇲🇺 severity over the Chagos Islands. It was wrong of Britain 🇬🇧 to retain them after Mauritius 🇲🇺 gained its independence, and it is still wrong until the handover is completed. Britain 🇬🇧 needs to consider making similar moves with other overseas territories.
Why did the government sign the Chagos deal now?
A deal to hand Mauritius the Chagos Islands and lease back a key military base has been months in the making.

It is comical that my Galaxy S24 Ultra's 5G connection connected, via ethernet, to my PC is roughly 8× faster than my fiber-to-the-cabinet broadband. 😂
It means I get decent, actually usable and reasonable, speeds with slightly higher latency.

Having alternative application stores on Android is so nice. Epic Games is a good example. F-Droid is another. Some are not so good such as Amazon's App Store and Samsung's Galaxy Store. Choice is freedom! 🤘🏻

Google's Play Protect keeps trying to turn itself back on (ask for consent to its terms to turn it back on) whenever I use Epic Games's store to download apps and updates. Google, I turned that off for a reason and I am sick of you trying to turn it back on given it is my phone not yours! Stop it!!

Honestly, for me, only having BlueSky as my main social media is so nice. I am barely on Facebook / Instagram now that Meta has abolished independent third-party fact Crackers and amended its policies to allow for horrific posts to stay up.

Samsung / EE finally pushed the January 2025 security update to my Galaxy S24 Ultra. Only took them over a month to deliver a SECURITY patch for my device. Not that security patches are important or anything. 😤
