Oh! Darn doors they often appear unexpectedly out of nowhere.
I have a similar ring my opal is teardrop shaped.
The ring was my Mom's. One year for my birthday she gave it to me along with several other rings I'd always admired.

Two vintage rings. 1st is diamonds and sapphires set in a yellow
gold setting. 2nd a teardrop oval, sapphires set in a white gold setting.

Six weeks ago, I picked up a year-old tawny owl with a broken leg off the main road near our home and dropped him off at our nearest vet.

Oh! I have several Meindl pieces, including Christmas angels, and I believe I have a clown that I gave to my Mom. We had some of Elfriede's pieces as well as some of Susan's work.
If I am brave enough (too many memories), I might go through the Christmas decorations to see what I have.

The Lake George wildfire is still out of control and estimated at 250 hectares. No reports of damage to structures. Dry windy conditions continue to be a challenge and may cause the fire to spread. Crews working hard to protect homes and other structures.

BREAKING: As of 16:05, the Lake George wildfire has jumped a firebreak, jumped a creek, and is quickly spreading through softwood outside of the clear cut area.

NL water bomber 415's are currently at the base, but have been requested to launch. An additional helicopter is coming out of Shubie.

13:22: Emergency services are responding to an active woods fire in the 50-150 block of Bligh Road, Woodville, Kings County.

A helicopter and tankers have been requested. Chopper will be deployed immediately.
