One of my companies informed me they cancelled a $2m conference in Florida. Why ?

They didn’t feel they could pass on the incremental cost of tariffs. So they are cutting expenses.

That’s a city that lost a ton of tourism revenue.

The cost of tariffs isn’t just the cost of the tariff

Let's be clear: the Medicaid portal went offline because of Donald Trump's orders.

The only reason it is back on is due to outrage from the American people.

Now, they are trying to lie about it.

Medicaid was never taken away from Americans under President Biden.

Everyone is screwed except the top 1%.
And it’s the caring about other people, no matter how good or bad you have it.
I may be better off than some, but I care about those that are being terrorized right now.

Dear God. No word about the actual insurance companies that take our money for decades and then abandon us when needed, but still line the pockets of their shareholders.
TRUMP: Every insurance company in the country left California. That's why you have no insurance. People that think like you made it so impossible.

BRAD SHERMAN: People that think like me? Mr President, I don't know what you know about my thinking.

Sen. Tim Kaine tells federal employees to ignore Trump’s offer to quit with pay for months. “Don’t be fooled. He’s tricked hundreds of people with that offer. If you accept that offer and resign he’ll stiff you just like he stiffed the contractors. He doesn’t have any authority to do this.”

These women didn’t sit down, stay quiet, or ask for permission—they broke the rules and changed the world. Role models.

We should add Bishop Mariann Budde to the list.

I’m hearing from constituents whose jobs are at risk because they do agency outreach to minority communities.

Consider what this means for public health, national security, agriculture and justice.

DURBIN: I wonder if we ought to give fair warning to farmers and ranchers that if you have immigrant labor, you can expect federal agents to come and search your property. Is that in the future under the mass deportation plan?
