Decided to dip in on another wave of Blokees-esque blind boxes from Sembo Block and got their second wave of figures based on the Progenitor Effect mecha designs from Moshow Toys - These are meant to be a lot more limber than their Metal Cardbot figures, so I'm quite excited to try them out!

Designed a new custom Bionicle figure - A broad, gentle giant covered in flowers and fungi. He has a wide range of articulation, including bicep swivels and posable hands, as well as gear mechanisms that swing his arms and spin the clear blades on his forearms.

Last but not least, the final Sembo Gold Edition Metal Cardbot, Ultimate Blue Cop! This is the same Blue Cop figure we started with, but now in black and gold with the build-a-figure parts from the first blind box wave included in gold... Oh, and a new hat! A very stylish figure to end things with.

My second-to-last Sembo Metal Cardbot Gold Edition figure is Heavy Iron, who I understand is the big bad of the series...? Either way he's certainly a bulky fellow, further emphasised by his tiny little head, although his chunkiness does sadly restrict his ab crunch and shoulder articulation.

The third Sembo Block Metal Cardbot Gold Edition figure I've built is Black Hook, who certainly looks really cool but sadly isn't as fun to play around with due to his pretty limited arm and neck articulation. Oh well.

Found a Gunpla eye sticker that fits pretty well! I considered leaving the eyes plain, but as Cardbots all have these cartoony eyes I did my best to add some pupils so he would still fit in - Not perfect at all, but it'll do

Overall I am reasonably impressed and intrigued by Sembo's style of blind box buildable figures, as while they're clearly aping off of Blokees they're not just copying their homework 1-to-1. However, if Blue Cop is anything to go by, there is room for improvement if they truly want to compete.
