Sorry for spewing everywhere. TLDR I agree with you and hate how shit is boiled down to "You either feel bad he died or you're a terrible person" when things are always more complex than that and also fuck him he was a piece of shit

But...I don't feel bad for him. I don't mourn him. I won't be keeping him in my thoughts. I won't be giving him a moment of silence. I didn't just disagree with him. He hated me and everything I am.

I hate what his death might mean for our future, but I'm glad he can't terrorize anyone any more.

I am disgusted by how this is being advertised as tragic while the right wing literally LAUGHED when Melissa Hortman and her husband were murdered.

I'm scared this will escalate to more political violence. And even though he's a terrible person, he did die in a very violent, horrible way.

I am glad he can't spew more hatred and I'm glad he can't make me, my friends, and those I care about feel scared any more.

I feel terrible for his very young kids. I feel scared about what this might mean for America as a whole. I'm terrified the right is going to use this as a Martyr situation

I think people tend to forget we, as humans, can have complex feelings about things.

I don't feel bad about him being dead. I don't give a shit about him as a person. He was a terrible, horrible person who spewed nothing but hatred, something we don't need more of in this world.
