Yesterdays Xmas present was solving WORDLE on 2nd try. IYKYK why this is a gift. I skipped my normal starting word and used "smirk" inspired by my cat. So, today I skipped my norm and got it on 2nd try AGAIN. Any guess as to my inspiration?

630 am. I'm torn between listening to my dog snore and getting my lazy bum out of this bed and decorating for Christmas. Me' thinks I prefer Lester's lullaby over the Christmas songs of Harry Connick Jr. Wait... Why not both?

The Tasselled Wobbegong is a master of disguise that can eat a fish almost as big as itself in one gulp. It's classified as a shark, but when it lays on the sea floor it looks like a harmless rug if you manage to see it. But with powerful jaws and sharp teeth they are no fish to mess with.

Well this sucks. A dam on the Au Train River is in critical shape and the Wisconsin owner doesn't have money to fix it. What a mess, The river is excellent for fishing and kayaking and if the dam is removed it might drain Au Train Lake. www.mlive.com/environment/...
Feds move to strip license from troubled Michigan hydro dam
Federal regulators say the high-hazard Upper Peninsula dam has flouted safety orders and lost control of key lands, setting up a transfer of oversight to the state.

A month ago we said goodbye to our nearly 20 year old cat. Saturday,I saw this picture and my heart broke so now Tater Tot is in my house or I should say my cage. She is not animal friendly so her new cage is a bedroom while she acclimates to a house infested with senior citizen fur babies.

Boy do I wish I could have a chat with all the naysayers when I posited that Epstein was a dirt factory for Putin. How many times have we asked "what does Putin have on Trump?" www.politico.com/news/2025/11...
Jeffrey Epstein claims he gave Russians insight into Trump
Newly released emails show the late convicted sex offender’s extensive network of foreign contacts, whom he corresponded with about Trump’s policy decisions.

The scene at Mar-a-Lago is as gross and creepy as you imagined, with these old pervs chasing their surgically enhanced prey with Trump acting as sick Degenerate-in-Chief. bsky.app/profile/mehd...
So, per reporting from Zeteo’s Asawin Suebsaeng, in today’s new ‘First Draft’ newsletter, Trump tried to get a newly-divorced Russ Vought, Project 2025 architect & now budget chief, laid at Mar-a-Lago.

The details are, ahem, as crude as you’d expect from Trump.

It's a yearly goal to get through October without turning on the heat. The breaking point is when the thermostat gets below 50. Last night it got to 52 in the house. My blankets had blankets that had blankets last night.....

Peter Franks latest adventure started and will end right here, in the thriving metropolis of Escanaba, Michigan on northwest Lake Michigan. #906Life #PureMichigan #Esky
Peter Frank is taking an ambitious 6,000-mile journey across several states, the Great Lakes and along the East Coast and back. For more than 450 days, he's traveled the same route French explorers Louis Joliet and Jacques Marquette took in the late 1600s.
Michigan man's 6,000-mile paddle passed through Chicago — and inspired thousands
Along the way, Peter Frank said he has faced several issues after basically being outside "24/7 for 15 straight months," but made time to call his mom almost every day.
