While in reality I just ask for understanding when fireworks are too loud and bright, and that you comfort me with touch/body weight rather than words.

I have a feeling a part of the hate I see online circling us comes from the thought that we are asking of others something drastic, like the infamous litter boxes at schools, or perhaps the ability to "change our species" on passports and such.
