People always get incredulous when I said Hollow Knight feels very samey until I point out that most of its biomes are reskins of the same set of hitboxes.

digital art creators also "don't have to" put their artworks on all those image sharing sites that feed their works into generative AI models. Doesn't mean we can't criticize those platforms for being shitty.
