Ever wonder what “the final straw” might be for you? Getting house ready to sell; dog keeps getting sick all over said house; societal disintegration and discord; and you know, the rise of fascism. But when I saw today’s headline, “Zombie Spiders!” I was like, “That’s it. I can’t take anymore.”

One of the lovely perks of my job is getting to go on retreat in beautiful places…

I went to a beautiful funeral service for a wise, kind, intelligent, courageous woman today. And her daughter quoted Mary Oliver’s famous poetic line: “Tell me, what is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life?”

May I embrace the fulness of that invitation!
