The right has it easy: all they have to do is hate and take pleasure when groups they don't like suffer. Intersectionality is a challenge. The founders of this country didn't agree, and we've forgotten the art of discourse. Just do the best you can.

The current system seems to profit too few by extraction and exploitation in the name of progress.
"We the People" have [again] been silenced by the influence of money over our government. It's the same thousands year old struggle for basic human dignity in tension with power.

Yes. there are ongoing protests across the US. DC has troops in it right now. I will be at one on September 1st &17th. I post short clips of peaceful protests because our news generally only wants to report when something 'bad' happens (as if the US sliding into fascism isn't 'bad' on its own ;-))

Right? That's the effect the system has on us. Keep us sick, exhausted and divided. Peaceful protests are only 1 of the things (3.5% rule). It is protected by the 1st amendment for a reason; don't discount it. Do whatever you can ->where you can without burn out. #3calls.org Economic Blackouts, ect

The 1st amendment is peaceful assembly, that's only part of this. Economic blackouts, political reform. So much work to do.
