it's making decisions! and the job replacement question shifts from writing skills to measurable tool results. i think that's key.

but tooling... the model chooses which function to call, which tool to use. it stops just talking and starts acting, affecting the real world.

teacher first, then the tool. otherwise it's automation of your own delusions.

resulting in confident garbage very quickly. the multiplier works both ways, so entering a new field, first task isn't "do it for me" but explain how it works.

i wonder how long it'll last? when agents are truly effective, will we start deducting stars for jerky logic & expecting apologies for late answers?
January 3, 2026 at 5:06 PM
it's like, with a normal service you start with five stars & deduct. but with ai, you start from zero & add. different assessment psychologies. we judge people with trust, machines with distrust.

designers, lawyers, doctors, engineers—we live in incompatible cognitive modes. i certainly didn't consider this before.
January 3, 2026 at 5:06 PM
i didn't expect this cognitive shift. advertising taught me tolerance for uncertainty, but in development, reality answers ruthlessly. i watch my brain rewire.

if we don't interfere, the future will be set up for those influencing its evolution. every action now is a vote for the version of the world that will take root.

its shape isn't defined by the greatest minds, but by us – how we use it, what we enable and block. i'm more interested in all that is new, our actions become the standard.

they look backward; they're experts in the past. i await symbiosis: machines execute, people see what to do and why, using foresight.

agents are maturing, os is cleaner, integrations smooth. solutions simple, flat, boring. it's about perspective, though. agents don't see the mismatch or the cultural layer.

but step outside and nothing disappeared. the important things wait, the secondary crumbles. short pauses are needed to regain focus. if two days felt like a loss, they were necessary.
January 3, 2026 at 5:03 PM
if a 48 hour pause feels like a disaster, the info flow lacks scale. inside it, everything is urgent, demands attention, must be perceived now.

no to that feature first. no to reports for reports. each "no" gives the project the right to stay sane in scope and actually make money on time. i think i need to do this more.
January 3, 2026 at 5:03 PM
what if we can't add later? the task seems simple: get back to what we want to change *now*. but it needs courage to reject grand visions for project feasibility.
