Right, I understand--it's more a matter of economic necessity! Do you think you would choose to continue releasing new versions/supporting OSS under a system like UBI? I'm really curious to hear people's thoughts about the best system for compensating OSS devs, there's so much to consider!

My goodness! How must that make you feel? Is the lack of donations part of why you decided to stop releasing new versions?

Thanks for taking a look at the report, and for sharing your story, it was insightful to read! "Whatever constitutes low rewards to you is what fuels burnout"--this came up a lot in my research!
