Smallest turnout we’ve had for Idaho Falls. But after doing this for a decade, and knowing how few people remain engaged, especially if it requires unsexy work in between, it doesn’t surprise me that even the “fun” stuff loses its flavor. Anyway props to the folks who showed up.

We had a little rally in Idaho Falls to stand in solidarity with immigrants and protest the fact that ICE now has a bigger budget than the Marines.

Our local billionaire puts on what is billed as the largest show west of the Mississippi. It’s a little more than half an hour and quite spectacular. I wonder if we might get an even bigger show next year, as a treat, since we’ll be paying for his tax cut.
