my main point however is that i see many people asking for buffs for certain underrepresented weapons, but you have to understand that if you want to see those weapons you have to help those who are *already playing them.* work with them to optimize. get ahead of the curve.

both my weapons, octo and painbrush are great examples of this. both have gotten changes that amplify their already outstanding strengths, but neither have elevated beyond niche status in the perceived meta, despite multiple players pushing them at various levels of play. but i digress

in counterpoint to this, there have been multiple weapons that have received beneficial buffs over the course of the game, and yet this did nothing to improve their standing in the meta, because nobody gave the time of day to players who specialize in those weapons.
